2018年7月26日に札幌グランドホテル「金枝の間」において、株式会社「きのとや」の長沼　昭会長をゲスト・スピーカーにお迎えしてイブニング・ディナー講演会を開催した。講演タイトルは、『若き日の想い出～アメリカ旅行』。長沼会長の25歳の時に初渡米されグレイハウンド・バス（99日間のパス購入）を利用し、紹介されたアメリカのホストファミリーを頼りにミシガン州のデトロイト、コロラド州、ニューヨーク州その他の州はむろん、カリフォルニア州にお住まいのお姉様にも会いにサンタ・バーバラで過ごした若かりし頃の氏想い出、それに「武勇伝」を楽しく語って頂いた。　伊藤会長はじめ会員達も長沼会長のチャレンジ精神と冒険心、それにアメリカのホストファミリーの心温まるホスピタリティを通して得た長沼会長の貴重な体験談を伺うことができた。　　　Mr.Akio Naganuma,Chairman of  the well-known conferctionary firm “Kinotoya” gave us a marvelous life story visiting many parts of the United States at the age of 25–his memorable experiences and hospitalities he had received from American host families–in his youth. He ventired out to travel Michigan, Colorado, New York vis Grayhound bus(99 days free pass) and stayed at American host family homes.
